TERRI CROWLEY
I’ve had a passion for painting horses, pets, and wild animals for as long as I can remember, always sketching and painting whenever I had the chance, developing my own unique style. As a child, I was drawn to the horses near my grandmother’s and cousins’ home, forming special connections that left a lasting impression on me.
“Every painting I create is a reflection of my lifelong love for animals and nature. Inspired by the connections and memories that have shaped me, my art tells a personal story while bringing warmth, beauty, and meaning to the spaces it touches.”
Those early experiences eventually led me to Luke, my forever horse, whose memory continues to inspire me today. Though I now live in my hometown of Frankenmuth, Michigan, rather than the country, my creativity and vision are still deeply rooted in the beauty of nature and the animals I love to capture in my art.

THE PROCESS
Every painting begins with a story — a moment, a memory, or a connection that deserves to be seen and felt.
Even though I work digitally, my process is no different from painting traditionally. Each piece is created stroke by stroke, using a digital pen and tablet as my brush and canvas. I design my own brushes, mix custom color palettes, and layer textures just as I would with paint. It’s a slow, thoughtful process — building depth, emotion, and life into every detail.
Once complete, the artwork is printed on museum-quality canvas with archival inks, ensuring lasting color and clarity. From there, I return to the piece one final time — brush in hand — to add touches of acrylic paint directly to the canvas. These painted highlights bring texture, vibrancy, and movement to the work, transforming it into a true one-of-a-kind original.
Each original carries a part of my heart and hands. Each print carries its spirit. Together, they tell stories that connect us — between artist, subject, and collector — in the shared language of beauty and memory.
